Some people feel as if there is no hope for their lives. The Bible holds out hope for eternal life through the Lord Jesus Christ.
Only Jesus Christ can give the forgiveness of sins that men and women desperately need. Christ alone can reconcile God and sinners through His sacrifice on the cross.
The Bible says, “If You, LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? But there is forgiveness with You, that You may be feared” (Ps. 130:3-4)
Jesus said, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light” (Mt. 11:28-30).
In describing God’s love, the Bible says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (Jn. 3:16). God demonstrates His love – He doesn’t say it – by having sent His Son Jesus to die for sinners and to rise again.
All those trusting in Christ Jesus will receive the forgiveness of sins promised in the Bible.
